At Kona Real Estate Management we want you to feel like family. Our goal is to help you sell your home, buy your home, or rent out your property until you are ready to make it your own.
If you choose us to sell your home we will treat it as our own and make sure everything is ready and working. Your property would be ready to show to potential clients and we would make sure it looks good. We have a small batch of vendors that we use to make sure everything is working, yard is trimmed and green, and unit is cleaned when needed. Also, if you are selling with renters in the property, we work with them so that they understand the property will need to be clean and orderly for showings. They will get 24 hour notice but from the beginning will have the understanding of what we want the property to look like when being shown.
If you would like to buy a property, we will do our research for all the possible matches for you and coordinate the showings as well as any information on the property. We might ask you to see a loan person to be preapproved as we would like to show you properties within your reach, not unattainable units. We like to drive you to a few neighborhoods to get to know what you are looking for and what condition you would like. Meaning, are you a hands on person to make it your style, or would you prefer to move in to a complete home without needing to change anything right away?
In our rental division we have long term rentals. This means we rent the homes or units for 6 months or longer. Most of our properties come unfurnished, as long term renters usually have their furniture already. When possible tenants look at your property we meet them there and show the unit and have applications at the property. The possible tenant must fill it out completely and have working numbers for jobs, references and previous landlord information. We do our screening and determine if the people would make a good fit into the property. We would not put a tenant in a bad situation, asking to be removed. Many of our renters have been with us for years. Communication is the best thing between renter, property manager and owners.
